Week 3 Reflection

• Is there such a thing as creative computing? Can you actually be creative using a computer? How?

I think there is such a thing as creative computing. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creativity and computers.

• Did your About Me make you feel creative? What part of your About Me was creative?

Making the About Me animation was actually the most fun I've ever had when making something about myself. I love the fact that I can edit the characters and even make my own. I thought it was really cool how I could control the Sprites and create something that reflects who I am. I think editing some of the sprites and the bedroom that my sprites were in were the most creative things that I did. I was able to edit the room to replicate how my actual room is and I was able to make the main sprite resemble me more.

• What did you discover this week about Scratch and using your computer?

I discovered a lot this week but the biggest discovery is that I shouldn't use my laptop when making animations. It can be a little difficult when editing and I really would like to use a mouse from now on instead of this touch-pad. I also discovered how cool Scratch actually is. It's fun having a simple program to create animations in.~
